This WI group is formed from the villages of Hackleton, Horton, Piddington, Preston Deanery and now also draws members from some of the new areas in Northampton.  The current membership has a wide age range and is open to new members from both within and outside the area.  Any woman over the age of 18 years of age is eligible to join.

Most meetings are held in the Dudley Winterbottom Memorial Hall in Hackleton on the 3rd Thursday of each month, commencing at 7.45 pm and usually finishing just after 10pm.  We have a varied programme incorporating Speakers on a wide range of subjects, or demonstrations, which range from hobby activities to items of seasonal interest.  We also have Open meetings, where other WIs are invited.

Other activities are also arranged including trips to the theatre, visits to gardens, croquet and rambles.  All ages and tastes will find something of interest within this WI group and a warm welcome is always offered to visitors and members alike.
